Abiu is a rare tropical fruit from the amazon rainforest.

It is a bright yellow and grows to be a bit larger then a tennis ball in size. The fruit is very juicy and has a sweet almost caramel flavour.

The tree is medium in size and grows very well in tropical and subtropical areas of australia. Here in north Queensland abiu trees fruits multiple times per year.
